In-Plant Training

From III semester onwards, students are encouraged to go on In-Plant Training (IPT) during their semester holidays in the following industries for the better understanding of their subjects and to understand the industrial scenario.

•  TNEB Substation Allundur, Trichy

•  Diesel loco shed, Ponmalai , Tiruchchirappalli

•  TANGEDCO collector office, Trichy

•  PCB Design, Hitakey Infosys, Trichy

•  Pantech ProEd, Trichy

•  Electrical CADDcenter ,Trichy

Industrial Visit

From III semester onwards, students will be taken to the following industries as Industrial Visit to enhance their knowledge in their subjects and to learn the industrial scenario.

•  Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Trivandrum

•  Mettur Thermal Power station, Salem

•  Sri Vinayagar Green Power Generation, Thuariyur

•  Windmill Power plant, Pollachi

Technical Training

From II-year onwards, the following technical trainings will be imparted to students with the experts in the industry to be well versed in the subject learnt.

•  Printed circuit Board using Proteus 8.0

•  Design of Embedded systems for Real time applications

•  PLC and SCADA

•  Electrical Machine Design, Windings, Assembling &Dismantling

•  Recent trends and research in solar energy technology &PVSYST software Training

•  Solar Photovoltaic system Design & Installation

•  PLC

•  Embedded system using Arduino

•  C & C++

•  Electrical CADD

Value Added Course

From VI semester onwards, the following value added courses will be taught to the students to be more employable.

•  Fuzzy logic system and applications – approved by Anna University

•  Solar Photovoltaic system design and Installation

English Proficiency Training

• Apart from the curriculum courses such as Technical English, Communicative English, Interpersonal skills, Advanced Reading, listening and writing, and Communication skills, a separate training session in the name "English Communication Skills (ECS)" is conducted for all the I year students.
